Cancer is a deadly disease. Not only can it take the life of the person that get this disease. It can take the lives of family and friends who try to be caregivers for their love, ones. Even though family and friends can be good caregivers for love, ones with cancer if they receive the proper educational training. Some people are unable to be caregivers for cancer patients, because being caregivers for patients with cancer are too emotionally, financially, and physically demanding for family and friends. Family and friends can be good caregivers for love ones with cancer if they receive the proper educational training. I know for a fact, for the training that I received when my Wife received her diagnosis with breast cancer. My Wife received this training as well. The training consist of what medicine she would receive and what side of effects it would cause. We both attended a class about her diet and that was overwhelming, because some of the foods they wanted her to eat would cause her to develop other issues. Like high cholesterol, high blood pressure and diabetes, so when I question about her possibility developing these other health problems, I was told that they would address those issues after treating the cancer and those other health risks was not that important at that time. This is where the confusion and overwhelming began.
